Hello.

When I add a terrain on the first floor plan view, it is removing the exterior walls on the 3D camera views.

Any feedback about how I can fix this would be appreciated.

Is there a setting that will turn off lines or layers from printing? For example, I have layout lines that I use to layout floor plans. I want to keep these lines, but do not want them to print.

I am trying to create a round exterior deck that wraps around a house.

After creating the deck, CA is seeing it as an interior room.

Any suggestions on how I can separate the deck from the interior of the house?  Each space would have different flooring materials.

Is there a way to transfer an existing plan onto a new template?  I have an existing plan for a one story house with foundation, but there are no active views.  Rather than creating all new active views, I would like to transfer the plan to a template that already has preset active views.  Any input is greatly appreciated. I created a new exterior wall type for a zip wall system and am having trouble generating the proper location for the exterior window casing. 

With exterior window casing turned on, the zip wall and siding stop at the casing instead of continuing down to the window opening.  

With the exterior window casing turned off, the zip wall and siding continue to the top and bottom of the window opening - which is what I want except for the missing casing.

How do I add the exterior window casing or get it to generate so that it is on the exterior face of the zip wall?

How do you create a hole in a deck floor?

I have two decks with a spiral staircase going up from one deck to another. 

I need to cut a hole in the deck floor for the spiral stair. Tried using the 'hole in floor' tool with no luck.

Also tried, creating a railing around the stair and making it into an "open floor" with no luck.

Any help is appreciate.

I am having trouble creating a dormer that is open to the first floor.  

My end goal is to have the exterior roof lines meet as in images Q3.

When I join the roofs, the interior of the dormer is looking wonky. See image Q4.

If I make the roofline as in Q1 and Q2 - it looks cleaner inside.

Any help is appreciated.

It appears as though the floor structure is missing.

The adjacent rooms are all okay.

I checked my layers and everything is unlocked.

I am using the railing to auto generate columns and beam for an exterior porch.

For some reason, the railing is generating 4 -1/2 columns, where only 3 are needed. 

The spacing is set to 8' o.c. for the columns. 

How can I correct this so that only 3 columns are being generated?
