  1. I used to live in Park City… I might be able to send someone in to measure it for you. How big is the house?
  2. Costco has a gaming computer for $3k that looks good. https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-rs-gaming-desktop---10th-gen-intel-core-i9-10900k---geforce-rtx-3080.product.100719183.html
  3. I gave up on the viewer a while back. I now put together a series of snapshots into a youtube video for the customer. Here are a couple recent Exteriors with my new RTX 3070 card...
  4. Thank you! Glad I could be of some help.
  5. Here is what I do that is simple to do... I check the like box for each library I download... then I can tell at a glance which ones I already have downloaded when looking to see what is new.
  6. Where can I find an exterior glass panel door symbol with the pivot point a foot in from the edge of the door? I don’t know what this type of door is called so it’s hard to do a search. Thank you
  7. I was informed that the earlier 2080 ti had some serious issues. Nvidia instructed me to contact the card manufacturer and ask for an exchange since the card was still under warranty. I snagged a 3070 for $1300 on Amazon since I didn’t want to be down for 4 to 6 weeks waiting for the new 2080ti. You might want to contact nvidia and/or your card manufacturer and tell them your situation
  8. Buck, I was getting the same error message. In my case the 2080ti graphics card was bad.
  9. Cross-ship is what I wanted from Cyberpower until I found out, due to shortage of cards, might be 4 to 6 weeks out. I was able to snag a 3070 so I will probably use the new 2080ti, whenever I get it, to upgrade my other computer… unless someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse on the 2080.
  10. After contacting nvidia and showing them what was going on, they looked at the date of my graphic card and instructed me to contact msi for an exchange. MSI suggested I contact Cyberpower, the people who put the computer together because they had a quicker exchange program than MSI and my computer wouldn’t be down for 4 to 6 weeks. Cyberpower informs me that their exchange program warranty was only good for 12 months and I need to go back to the card manufacturer, MSI. Anyway, I ended up buying a new EVGA rtx 3070 for $1200, which is scheduled to arrive next Tuesday. UPDATE: Just checked and FedEx has my graphic card out for delivery today, Friday. Thank you FedEx!
  11. I don't know what to look at but here is what the screen shows when I went PBR on Chief... (screen shot on right) The GPU load got as high as 98%. One thing different now is Chief didn't crash after I turned the camera back to Standard mode but my second screen is still covered with green specks? (screen shot left) Oh yeah, nvidea had another driver update this morning.
  12. Boy! What an adventure… Mark, I did the nvidia driver routine with tech support already. I am going to go back and check all the suggestions on here to make sure I didn’t overlook any.
  13. Here is what I currently have: Now I am getting these yellow splotches! HELP!
  14. Screen view after I uninstalled x13 and reinstalled:
  15. I did this and now get pretty blue splotches... Going to For Joe:
  16. Not sure what you mean. (wouldn't tech support know about that?)
  17. Strange thing is the PBR and ray tracing works fine on the new release of my other CAD program.
  18. This is reply to Rene... not to get confused with multiple responses. Thanks everyone Yes, one of the first things I tried... in case a corrupt template was involved. I wish I could copy and paste what tech had me do but not sure I can do it on the open forum.
  19. thanks Rene! Yes, geforce driver is the latest. Any idea what would cause the time-out issue?
  20. Thanks for the help. Mark. I feel like a child would who has been told he can't play with his new toy... only get to watch the other kids playing with the new toy.
