Migaloo
I have had X8 crash several times when sending a wall elevation camera view to layout. I get the message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" this in turn causes X8 to stop responding and I have to end task in task manager and restart X8. Just curious if anyone else has seen this? or maybe they know what my issue is. My system uses ATI Radeon HD 4200 and the driver is up to date. I am using windows 10 also. DavidJPotter
No, but I keep my video card software drivers up to date at all times so I do not have your kind of trouble. Corrupt or out of date software drivers for video cards and mice are sources of trouble always. DJP

dssharp
Chief is becoming more and more taxing on video drivers. It's because everything is constantly being built in 3 d . X7 to x8 has jumped in processing . Your video card and proccessor gets taxed more and more.

DRAWZILLA
Not having that problem at all. I thought I explained in another thread, you may need a new computer or video card. I'm pretty sure you upgraded to windows 10 and your old video card might not be good enough for that.
Solution English Posted April 25, 2016 Solution Share Posted April 25, 2016 I have a 6 year old nVidia GeForce GTX285 on my Mac Pro (my Mac Pro is 8 years old) and have not had any issues. I do notice that on complex plans any changes can take a while as the 3D has to render (even if I don't have a 3D view open). Alan
