mountaineer
Is there a setting to change my auto interior dimensions to measure from the inside of the walls? Right now they measure from drywall surface on interior wall to the exterior surface of the perimeter wall. Thank you any guidance.
Gawdzira
This is the behavior I am getting. I think this is what you are asking for?
mountaineer
Yes, that's what is weird? My settings match yours but I'm still getting the outside of my perimeter walls. There must be a setting somewhere else that I'm missing?
Alaskan_Son
Just a wild guess here without a plan, but I'd bet you have your exterior walls backwards...siding inside and drywall outside. OR...your wall definition is wrong...you have your interior and exterior layers mixed up.
OldCKD
I'm going to guess the same thing as Michael. Zoom in on the wall and see if your drywall is on the exterior of the structure. If so it's easily fixed by reversing the layers.
mountaineer
no my walls are correct.
Alaskan_Son
no my walls are correct. Did you check your wall type definition? Your wall finishes may be assigned to the wrong layers (i.e. your siding is defined as an interior layer and your drywall is defined as an exterior layer ). Joe_Carrick
Are you looking at Interior Dimensions or Temporary Dimensions? There are separate Defaults for both.
mountaineer
Aha!! Joe. Thank you. I was in the wrong menu. It was my temporary dimensions. Thank you and everyone else who helped. Hopefully someday I can return the favor.
