mrrozhall
I use CA X1. For some strange reason I cannot get CA to draw perfect arches. A snippet from my front elevation is attached and the arched doorways are in yellow highlight. I've tried several things with no success.Any tips, pointers, suggestions are greatly appreciated.ThanksRoz
DavidJPotter
Roz, your attached is so tiny, it is worthless in terms of communicating your exact problem, I am sorry to say. Since I cannot see your image, I can offer nothing of any use to you until I and others can see what is what. DJP
Rosco2017
Roz, maybe post your plan. The image is coming up very tiny. You'll probably get an answer very quick! Good Luck!
mrrozhall
So very sorry folks. My previous attachment was indeed too small to see. I have reattached a better example of my problem. Thanks Roz
rlackore
The second attached image is still small. How, exactly, are they flawed? Describe the problem. Also, attach the plan file.
CJSpud
For the two arches on the left side, the column spacing doesn't appear to be correct for the window spacing. To get the arch to match the window arches, you could do that with CAD circles and experiment with the radius until it matches up good. For the circular turret, I am not sure if the arch was perfect (same radius) as the door beyond, that it would even look correct in elevation since the arch is in a curved wall. That's one I would probably spend a bit of time experimenting with if it were my project. If that's an elliptical arch over the door, it might take a little more effort to get right???
