DRAWZILLA
Open up Adobe and use Repair setting, it will reinstall the driver and links portion for your computer. Sometimes I have to do that also. And make sure you have selected adobe PDF in the printer selection.
seanjayr
Raltd9245, did you manage to find a solution? I am having the same exact problem. I recently upgraded to Win 8.1, and have an X5 project i needed to amend. It messed up when opening it in X6 so I did the amendments in X5, and when i attempted to print a Pdf (I have Adobe Acrobat X1 pro) nothing happened just the same as you. Repair setting didn't work. Dan_Park
You might try opening the plan in X6 and try printing there. It would be interesting to know if that works.
seanjayr
Hi Dan, yes, printing the plan in X6 to pdf worked. I was able to print from X5 to Microsoft XPS. The reason I kept the X5 plan in X5 was because when I first opened the X5 plan in X6 my cad blocks were coming up out of scale. For some reason the next time I opened the X5 file in X6 my cad blocks were Ok, and I had another X5 plan to edit today and it opened in X6 fine, so I was able to edit it in X6 and all appears good. I don't expect to use X5 anymore on my Windows 8.1 machine.
