Stand Alone Closet - Ceiling

Running version x6, I am creating a loft plan with a stand alone closet but can't seem to figure out how to add a ceiling to the closet.

 

First Picture: I have built a standard interior wall, added the second floor and opened up the room above to create the loft area. Now the closet shouldn't be touching the ceiling but is a recessed foot lower than the ceiling line.

 

So I tried creating a half wall.

 

Second Picture: I have built a half height wall, I see where the program adds the railing option to give it that wood top accent.

 

Is there anyway to easily add a ceiling to this closet design?

Probably the simplest would be to use a Polyline Solid or a Slab.

I like to use invisible walls on the second floor to accomplish this.

You'll need to delete the baseboard from he room created by your invisible walls if that is how you plan to detail the finishes.

IN CA there are MANY ways to "Skin a Cat" !
