Michael_Lewis
I am needing help with creating a set of stairs with winders in X10. I would love to speak with someone on a zoom call or something if possible. It probably wouldnt take long. I cant even get the Winders option to show up and I have looked and looked and cant figure this out. I have included a couple of pics, the first is with 3 sets of stairs connected. The second is with the U shape

Joe_Carrick
FWIW, X10 is 8 years old and most users here are on X17. I think in X10 you would probably need to use manually created pie shaped landings to emulate the winders. You will need to adjust each landing's top elevation & thickness to get them all to connect with the stair sections As Jason said, questions and requests for assistance should be posted in the Q&A Forum. glennw Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Share Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM (edited) There were some changes made to the stair tool about v10 - do you have V10 or v10b? Try this: Draw a straight stair section containing the number of winders you need. Mark them as Winders. Right click on the stairs ( or left click+Option on a mac) and drag them around to form the winders. They need to be contained within a room so that the winders can extend out to the walls of the staircase room. This is in V10: Edited yesterday at 01:05 AM by glennw
