Need to divide a room if it's half over a porch deck?

I've an upstairs room that is half over a porch and the porch needs a lower ceiling than the adjacent inside room on floor one.  Do I need to divide the upstairs room so as to have a ceiling below with the air gap layer I need to lower the ceiling?  I already divided the porch deck into that which is under the floor of the room above and that which has only roof over.

For the 3D I would just toss a ceiling plane and move on. If you want to show a cross section with framing or other, detail it out in CAD.

I agree with the others that posted...

 

However, you could just make the porch room "no ceiling"...and use a ceiling plane to create the porch room ceiling. Place the ceiling plane at the elevation you want it to be...and set it to have a zero pitch.
