winterdd Posted February 8 Share Posted February 8 Hey guys, CA curved stair tool is too much of a radius. How do you guys get something more subtle like this? Almost like it is straight from the top and then it curves the last 1/4 part at the bottom. I tried to manipulate the curved stair tool but it's too sensitive and just won't take shape. Take plenty of notes Rob, might hit you up some say. DBCooper Posted February 9 Share Posted February 9 A normal curved stair in Chief can only be a simple arc with one radius. If you need a J-shaped stair, you will need to have multiple sections with different radius. I watched this tutorial https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/388/drawing-curved-stairs.html and used a part of it to get it more J shaped. I cannot believe how long I messed around with this.
