decorators3
Hi My clients wants me to create a new exterior look for her home with my rendering software. I have the floor plan but no elevations, I can't figure out how to get the garage at the correct height in relation to the google house image attached Any advise Thanks
ericepv
Use the dimension of one of the existing features (16' w garage door, 80" h, entry door, etc) as scale. Not a perfect solution but it will get you close.
Rookie65
If you have the floor plan, then count the stair treads going down from the main floor to the garage floor, and add 1 riser. Pick a riser height that makes sense, then drop the garage floor from the main floor that amount. Then set your garage ceiling height from there. Or ask your clients if they can measure it for you.
