GeneDavis
One end of a simple gabled-roof house has some kind of fault, in that the ceiling lines "come through" and show in elevation. See the pic. The gable elevation at the opposite end has no such lines showing in elevation. Here is the difference. Inside, at the gable with the lines showing, there are manually drawn ceiling planes. Those 4:12 lines do not show in the elevation view. What is showing is the ceiling lines in room definition, with the central area ceiling up high so the stacked window is all on floor 1. The opposite elevation has its rooms inside all at 9/0 and there are no manually drawn ceiling planes.
robdyck
Hi Gene, do you have a plan you can post? Alternatively, you could PM me a download link to your plan file and I'll take a look.
GeneDavis
Hi @robdyck! I am lost in X17 and its file setup. How does one do a zipped plan file coming out of Chief project system?
robdyck
You would use the Export Plan as Project function. Alternatively, you can send just the plan file (if you have one) to a zipped folder from within File Explorer.
