Framed cabinet door adjustments

I'm using framed cabinet doors with "glass doors" option selected in x17. I'm trying to adjust the size of the frame to allow for a larger glass window in the door and can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. I can make them slab doors, but it's not really the look I'm going for. See attached image for reference. Thanks for any help!

I've tried the slab doors option and it places the glass covering all the doors which is not the look I'm going for.  There has to be a way to modify the frame of the cabinet doors I just can't find it.

You can't modify the size of the frame for the built in "framed doors".  You might want to send in a feature request for that though.  You can make a post here asking for what you want:

So I think your only real choices are to live with the 2 1/2" frame that Chief gives you, look for one that is "close enough" in the cabinet door libraries available, or to build your own cabinet door symbol with the frame sizes you want.  This is a pretty easy thing to do and you can use a bunch of different other tools to actually build it and convert it into a door symbol.  When you make the new symbol you might want to also set up stretch planes so that your frame stays the size you want.

Personally, I like to use the cabinet tools themselves to build door symbols.  Once you have created a good base plan, you can create all kinds of different door styles very quickly.

Here is a tech article explaining how to build a custom door symbol:

I didn't even think about creating my own doors using CAD/polylines. Which is silly because much of what I have in this design was custom shaped using cad lol. Appreciate it coop!

You can also specify a 'Slim Shaker' door (in the Bonus catalogs) and make the door panel glass.

Eric has the answer!  I did a search and confirmed my initial thought, that these are done with extruded aluminum frames.  A very cool modern look, although just as for open front cabs, whatever you store inside had better look good.  Not a good look for where I store my baking flours and seeds.

Edit:  having built lots of cabinets, I couldn't help myself, and looked up how these might be hinged.  The Salice Air Hinge is the answer.  Have a look.
