ericepv
After installing the latest studio driver (580.97), Chief started crashing w/ PBR's. Going back to the previous driver (577.0) has solved the problem for now.Has anyone else been experiencing this?

Chief_QA
We are aware of this studio driver having issues, we have reported the bug to Nvidia and they are working on it. For the time being, please do not upgrade to the 580.97 driver and continue to use the 577.00 studio driver.

Lmlowery Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Share Posted yesterday at 12:57 AM Rolling back did not work for me. The crashes (multiple) somehow disabled the NVIDIA graphics driver entirely and caused a boot failure. I just spent over two hours on phone support with CLX helping me get my system back up. I can use the basics of CA17 but I can't do a backup of managed resources without a crash and I can't do any renders without a crash. Not going to lie, I spent some time freaking crying and cursing today. Urg.
