JacArt
I've started a plan in Windows and I sent it to my colleague. I have X6 for Windows and she has X6 for Mac. When she opens the plan, the measurements are different. Attached is a version of my plan and a screen capture of what she sees when she open's my plan in Mac. Anybody knows why the units are converted that way? The measurements seems to be meters presented as '-''. Example Windows: 19’-8 ½’’ - Transleted in meters is should read 5.75 meters Mac: 5'-28 1/4" If 39’’ = 1 meter, then .75 x 39" = 28 1/4’’ Bizarre! Kbird1
Not on a Mac so not seeing any issue here , looks like you drew it in Inches , so She may need to turn on the Secondary Dimension Format ,so Chief will Show Both or reverse the Primary Format and Secondary Formats , you might need to check the meter to feet conversion equation in the Preferences too, under Unit Conversions? JacArt
Thank you Mick. I guess I'll have to sit with her to see her unit of measure setup. I'll let you know if I find the solution. Jacqueline
Doug_Park
I looked at the PDF you posted and it appears to show exactly the same measurements that your plan shows. I'm not clear as to what the issue is.

Dan_Park
Open preferences -> find Unit Conversions. See if the ' or " items allow you to delete them. If they do delete them close and reopen preferences. I think this is a bug in that a user can add an additional ' and save it.
Dan_Park
You may need to go into default settings and change edit the primary unit to '-" again a ok out to get it to display properly
