Program unusable due to noise since update

Hello,

 

Since updating to X16 there is so much noise in my 3D camera views that the program is basically unusable. I've tried adjusting the lighting and messing with the rendering settings, but I'm not very confident there as I'm a relatively new Chief user. Does anybody know what to do here?

You probably need to update your video card driver if you're on a Windows machine.

I have already done this. 

 

Edit: Your comment got me thinking. I actually decided to roll-back my graphics driver install and that fixed the noise issue. So if anyone else has this issue:

 

Go to Windows search bar and search for Device Manager > Display Drivers > Your graphics card

There should be options to update and roll-back to previous version. It won't ask or require that you restart after rolling-back, but I recommend it.

You mention you just dated to x16, does x15 still work?

If not try reinstall chief and then if that fails, I would contact support when they open.

I'm just guessing not knowing your machine specs.

I thought about this, but I already uninstalled X15, so I tried rolling back my graphics driver first. That fixed the issue.

Normally I keep the previous 2 versions of Chief installed.

IAE, you can always go log in to your Chief account and download previous versions to install.
