Turning a slab on it's side

Help! I've spent far too much time on this.... I am trying to put this slab with a hole in it up on it's side so that it is vertical and I can't figure it out. Any advise?

Try creating it as a 3D Solid instead of a slab. The Slab tool is for like, a building slab. Just a flat slab with a specified thickness.

3D Solids can be anything.

Also you can just create that shape in an Elevation view using 3D Solids so you won't have to rotate it.

Select the Slab, click the Convert to 3D Solid tool, and then simply select by one of the sides and Rotate.

Oh yeah, that too. But in the future, don't use Slabs to draw that type of thing

Also, depending on what you want to do with it after, you could convert it directly into a symbol.
