Exporting pictures

I am currently using chief architect x16 and trying to export a high resolution image for the floorplan. I want to be able to view the floor labels even when zoomed in on a PNG file. When I click on the export image I can not make any changes to the width or the height. Only change I can make it switch from pixels to units or change the resolution. Changing the resolution doesn't change the quality of the photo for me. Please help. Ive been playing around with this for to long!

try a image printer driver like imagePrinterpro print driver?

I don't think you can specify the resolution when using "export picture" from a floor plan view like you can with camera views.  You just get the current screen resolution.

 

You could try exporting as a pdf or a dwg instead.

The solution to this is to print to pdf using a high resolution, then convert the pdf to a jpg. There are many free online tools for this.

the least amount of click solutions is an image printer driver that once installed, allows you to print to image directly from the CA print dialog. I tried out imageprinter pro (I used to have a TIFF driver years ago). and you can easily zoom in to read the text:

 

It is $35 perpetual license with all sorts of image formats.  png below
