I'm looking to show the terrain at the camera (my terrain is 2" thick) as the grade line, and perhaps also show at the end of the back clip...

if I dont back clip it, it looks to show the grade at the far end of the terrain, which isnt what I want either. interestingly it will show the terrain line against a wall, so I suppose I could put in some sort of transparent solid at my camera...not ideal

thanks

OOTB plan attached

That is not the only case where terrain is not shown against the foundation wall.  It seems to be a general problem with how CA deals with terrain that is shaped in complex ways.

I've noticed something wonky going on in one of my plans too. I ended up using the poly line driveway tool to put a thin box two feet out around the foundation. It hugged the terrain nicely, so I just put it on a separate layer line and turned off the terrain all together.
