tkwebster
Hello! I recently got a new computer and everything is backed up to OneDrive. Normally, the process of installing Chief on a new computer has been easy in the past...but not this time. I'm not sure what I have done or what the issue is. All catalogs show up under the Library Browser except my User Catalog. I have even tried importing it manually from the OneDrive location but it just says nothing was imported. I am also getting these error codes: LibraryDatabaseInterface.cpp(465): Error #272032176 "Error Updating Library Schema in User_Library: Database Error: Unable to prepare statement: no such table: LibraryObjects" 03/20/2024 03:16:17 PM Build: 25.3.0.77 Windows 64-bit Unable to prepare statement: no such table: LibraryObjects" 03/20/2024 03:16:17 PM Build: 25.3.0.77 Windows 64-bit Any help would be greatly appreciated! ericepv
When I got my new system, I used Zinstall, everything came over without issue Transfer Programs and Files to New Computer, to Windows 11, Windows 10 - Zinstall As a manual install did not work for you (from a thumb drive??), perhaps you should contact tech support. DBCooper
Might want to check out these tech articles: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00001/backing-up-chief-architect-content.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00091/restoring-chief-architect-content.html If that doesn't help, I would contact tech support. I would suggest moving Chief out of Documents and thus out of OneDrive's automatic Backup of Documents "reach" and another way to go..... OD is a curse in Windows 11, I've had numerous issues with it since switch from Win 10, Chief really should not be using that Folder by default any longer , IMHO https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03132/resolving-unexpected-behavior-on-a-windows-pc-by-redirecting-the-data-folder.html I've also had several Client's on Mac's having Issues too with either iCloud and also Dropbox , which is enabled by default on some versions of MAC Os. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-03116/resolving-unexpected-behavior-on-a-mac-by-redirecting-the-data-folder.html M.
