n_adams1551
I use chief at school for my architecture class and last year we were able to make a roof detail in chief to make a model. This year I guess chief updated and this was patched? The only way we can see the roof in a printable way is making an xps file and then printing it from there. Is there a way to make a detail of the roof and print it without having to make an unnecessary xps?
Gawdzira
What were the steps you took last year that are not working this year? What does the detail you are looking for look like? Can you upload a sketch to illustrate?
n_adams1551
Well not until Monday can i attach pictures. As for making the detail, it was straight forward. I'd make a house, use the orthegraphic full view, go under the cad tab, detail from view and roof planes would come up. Now they dont. But when we make an xps file to print out the walls on oversized ansi c paper the roof is a part of that. So the information for the roof plan is there, it's just hidden somewhere... Joe_Carrick
Check your Layers. It appears that something has been turned off.
Kbird1
in Plan view you should also be able to go Print>Print Model to make paper templates/cutouts check out page 1215 of the Ref. manual for more info.... M.
