How do I remove the ceiling of a screened porch to expose the rafters?

• uncheck "Ceiling above this Room"

Open the room, review the options on the Structure panel -- one should be obvious.

    Thanks for the advice, I'll get to that shortly.  In the mean time I am using Chief Architect X15 on an Alienware M-18 with RTX 4090

I built the structure as a deck and placed the roof over it and I just want to remove the ceiling material and show the exposed rafters.

Any feedback you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

As Joe said, uncheck "Ceiling Above This Room," but also you will need to go into the Roof dialog and delete the ceiling layers:

 

 

Then make sure you have "Framing, Roof Rafters" layer turned on in your camera view:
