capitaldesigns
Is there a way to create a line style with arrows along the length of the line? In the line style specifications you can only add a dash, dot or text. No symbols. I am working on a project on a 40 acre lot. The building department wants me to show on the site plans H.C. path of travel and emergency access route. They want me to use lines with arrows to show the direction of travel. Thanks, Mike

DrawingABlank
you can create a line style using line style management to fit your needs. (or import but creating one is not that hard) In the line style management dbx create a style using a pattern such as dash dash text. In the 'text' space use windows alt codes to create an arrow that is accepted as text. Arrows are achievable such as holding alt down and pressing 16 on the numerical keyboard results in this arrow style ►. Or alt+26 results in →. The alt symbol will be placed win the line pattern. Name the line style and proceed. (other tweaks are possible)

robdyck
For slopes on lots or exit paths, I create a cad block of my desired arrow, save it to the library and then use a polyline distribution path.
