LotzCC
I created an as built of an existing house, and have now drawn an addition. On the exterior, a second story wall corner is not closing. In plan view, the walls are snapping together and appear to have no gap. In addition, the same wall corner that is not displaying correctly on the exterior is exposed and visible on the interior finished wall. See attached images. Please advise. ericepv
My first thought is that you may have an attic wall that is interfering. Hard to tell without seeing your plan, can you post it?
rgardner
Look at the Wall layer intersection tool in the edit toolbar when you select the walls.
LotzCC
I have uploaded the file with the wall issues. Also having trouble getting the roof planes to join. Any help would be appreciated. Roscher 2.1.plan
robdyck
You'll need to adjust the wall layer intersections. wallcorners.mp4
ericepv
Align your walls with the wall below and uncheck 'Attic Wall' in your DBX for the wall ('General' tab) and also uncheck 'No Room Definition'. Which roof planes are you having trouble with? They all seem to be connecting.
