HumbleChief
Can't remember how to do it? I've got an as built shallow sloped roof with the exterior walls raked to accommodate the slope with the rafter/joists running parallel to the baseline. Chief wants to run the rafters perpendicular to the baseline by default and I know there's way but can't remember how. GeneDavis
You can frame it manually but the rafters are going to be plumb, which may not be what you want. I find no way to rotate them to have sections perpendicular to the roof plane.

Thanks Gene, the slope is very shallow, probably 1/4" - 1/2":12 so plumb rafters are not a problem and I could have sworn there was a way to do this? Thanks Again. Solution TeaTime Posted May 22, 2023 Solution Share Posted May 22, 2023 This is actually a great use of using Baseline Angle. In the Roof spec, checking Pitch in Degrees shows the pitch you'd need to use - rotate your roof plane 90 degrees, set it 0 pitch and plug that baseline angle in.
