Jambruins
I need a foundation with a 5'-1/2" tall frost wall (4' below grade and 12" above grade with a 1.5" sill plate) and the slab 12" below the top of frost wall. In my foundation defaults I have the stem wall minimum height set to 61 1/2". However, it is putting my slab on top of the frost wall. How do I get it to be 12" below the top of frost wall? TeaTime
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe you can get it to build like this 100% automatically. Setting your room(s) to Garage will kind of do this automatically though! Garage Floor to SWT: 12' Min Garage Height: 60' The main issue is that they don't sit at grade. But it shortcuts the room in the right direction. Open the Floor 1 room and set Stem Wall Top to 12" (above grade) Floor to 0" (grade), Stem Walls will remain at 60' and come up with the new SWT height, building from SWT down an additional 4' below grade. GeneDavis
The wall is made a pony wall, framed wall top, concrete foundation wall bottom. It sits atop the concrete frost wall. The pony wall is specified to have the break at your chosen elevation. in elevation, you drag/edit your footings down where needed. Step where appropriate. Garybills
You can set the default exterior walls, default foundation stem wall and terrain and it will build automatically.
