DRAWZILLA Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I add floor finishes but they are all a 1/2" so its easy to figure out heights without thinking too much. The problem with some sections is the floor to ceiling manual dimension will pick up the finish, then I have to zoom in and move it. joey_martin Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 As you and I discussed on Saturday, I think it would speed things up for you to have a slab template separate from a crawl template. The only reason I don't have a different template for crawl vs. basement is because they are so similar. If I did more slab homes, I would have a template for them. DRAWZILLA Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 I used to set up different templates for every condition, but later on I found its just too difficult to update them all as you go, so now I just use a very basic template and just change it to what I need. We can spend countless hours setting up templates for different scenarios or you can spend 32.7 seconds changing the default template to work for the condition at hand. I and I am assuming Perry, quickly switch from MONO SLABS to RAISED FLOORS or CONVENTIONAL ROOF FRAMING to TRUSS FRAMING or ......... one template is all you need.... you can quickly change it for your particular project. bernie Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 anyone got a template successfully working for a mixed model . e.g. with mono slab floor (garage) connected to a raised pile floor with piles around perimeter (not stem wall around perimeter)? both floors at same height so yes there is a digout or ground sloping to accomodate the crawl space / ventilation requirements etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
