Skip_D
Hi All Why are my double-hung rough openings in the schedule 1/4" larger than they should be? An Anderson 400 series d/h has a RO height that is equal to the Unit Dimension. I therefore set my Rough Opening Bottom value to Zero. But in the schedule it seems to add 1/4". Any ideas? Thanks, Skip X6
Joe_Carrick
Installation clearance (probably a setting in defaults) so that the window will actually fit in the RO.
Gawdzira
That is loco by Anderson if they have callouts to RO but I can see if being a lot easier to deal with in the field since your 2'6 window is framed at 30". You may have to customize your callouts for the windows and size for the specified RO.
chief58
IF you check there is a r.o. # for top and bottom and just one number for sides, make the first one 1/4" it will say both sides, the next 2 will be 0, I use andersen's all the time with no problem. and just as a side note and don't take this personnel because I have been doing this for over 30 years and just realized I was spelling Andersen the wrong way there is no o it is AndersEn, that is what it says on the front of the book
