capitaldesigns
I just started inputting field measurements on a remodel project the contractor started with permits. Needless to say he got caught. On two of the front walls of this house the top portion of the wall projects out 12" from the lower wall. I have included the plan I am working on along with a picture of this wall. In the picture this wall is to the right of the Porta Potty. Does anyone know how to draw this type of wall ? Thanks, Mike As-Built Plan.plan
capitaldesigns
How do I show the wall that is behind this wall ? That wall has a footing and 24" high. I tried the bay window tool. The problem is this only works for a straight wall. This 12" projection wraps around a corner.

glennw
Sorry, I accidentally deleted my post trying to edit it. You basically need to draw a 12" wide "L" shaped room and raise the floor. Keep the original absolute ceiling height.

The Bay/Box window controls are too weak for a finished product, though they are useful during conceptual design
