uhlerandcompany
Hi All, I just upgraded to x14 and 3D solids are not showing up in floor plan views. I opened in camera view and verified fill pattern. All layers are turned on so I don't think that's the problem.
Gawdzira
Check which floor level they are on. If you were in an elevation view when you drew them, they may not be on the same floor plan level where you are checking for them.
rgardner
Assuming the layer they are on is still set to show in the 3d view you are using correct?
uhlerandcompany
Yes, I can turn all layers on and it still does it. If I try to draw a solid in plan view it disappears as soon as I release the mouse. It's still there because I can click on it but its invisible for some reason in plan view. Thanks for the help everyone! 1551366753_PerkinsCabinAtTheRocksReversed.zip

Sounds like you changed your line style to the white color or an “invisible line” style. Open the item and look at the line style panel of the dbx. Dermot
Your plan is miles away from the origin. This is not recommended. Try moving your plan back to the origin and the 3D solids should behave better.
uhlerandcompany
Is there an easy way to do that?
uhlerandcompany
Dermot- not sure how it got off the origin but that fixed it. Thank you!
Dermot
My best guess is that it happened when you imported some cad from another program. The Import Drawing Assistant has an option to move all of the data to the origin when you import it which can help prevent this. See picture below. Once you have a plan that is far from the origin it can usually be moved back to the origin using the edit area tool.
