  1. You can make a specific layer set for this purpose that would only have that particular layer in red. You would need to send that layer set to the layout pages and print in color like Eric mentioned.
  2. Dermot- not sure how it got off the origin but that fixed it. Thank you!
  3. Yes, I can turn all layers on and it still does it. If I try to draw a solid in plan view it disappears as soon as I release the mouse. It's still there because I can click on it but its invisible for some reason in plan view. Thanks for the help everyone! 1551366753_PerkinsCabinAtTheRocksReversed.zip
  4. Hi All, I just upgraded to x14 and 3D solids are not showing up in floor plan views. I opened in camera view and verified fill pattern. All layers are turned on so I don't think that's the problem.
  5. Hi All, Is there a setting that will stop the construction lines from interfering with object moves in X13? If I try to move an object, wall, etc., the construction lines are stopping the move unless I hold the control button. Thanks, Rick
  6. Weird thing is it was 90 degrees when i did dimensions and some cad work and it somehow moved if that's possible. The cad boxes don't line up with the framing because now the framing is skewed. It wasn't like that before because i was snapping to the framing with cad boxes.
  7. I have a 3d mouse but it doesn't rotate in the camera view. It will zoom, etc. but wont rotate...
  8. Is there a way to change the cross section camera angles in X12? I did a bunch of notes in a backclipped cross section and somehow it got skewed a few degrees from 90. Can't figure out how to get it back.
  9. Can you re-post that link? It is saying couldn't locate item.
  10. Yes, that would be ideal. I'm using the macro to auto generate the length but cant figure out how to do it in feet instead of inches.
  11. I added a signature but in case it doesn't show up i'm running X11. Thanks for the help!
  12. Does anyone know how to make the object specific framing joist macro labels in ft and inches ('0-0") instead of inches?
  13. Thanks for the help! I will try overlapping them...never thought of that.
