Tony-209
Hey guys, I am looking to design a Portico over the front entrance, I don't want to have posts supporting it, more floating like the example, how do I go about this, I tried using a Dorma, but to no avail, any ideas? Thanks again!
MoeGia
I would use invisible walls to create a room the size of the gable roof you would like. Set the front wall as a gable and auto roofs should create the roof, or you can do it manually. Use a bracket from the library, manually placed. If desired, you can set the walls to no wall definition once you are finished with auto roofs. 1
joey_martin
Maureen's method would give you that wall if auto roofs are turned on, I would just draw a roof plane and set the fascia height to match the main roof and your done. Size accordingly and add the bracket. 1
Solution rgardner Posted May 25, 2022 Solution Share Posted May 25, 2022 56 minutes ago, joey_martin said: Maureen's method would give you that wall if auto roofs are turned on Only if you leave it as a flat ceiling over the room. Either method is quite simple with this setup. Just look for Corbels for the brackets in the library.
