masterofmany
I have tried everything I can think of to do this. I have searched and watched hours of videos and am not finding what I need. Any help to place me in the right direction would be awesome. I have to have these plans done in the next 2 days for submittal.
Chopsaw
No sorry I don't believe that is an automatic setting yet. However if you need to show it in 3D then draw a tapered rafter in cross section with a p-solid and multi copy as many as you need.
joey_martin
Make your rafter out of a solid if you absolutely need to 3D model that situation, though a CAD detail and note should work.
robdyck
You can make this type of framing member using a truss, then editing the truss polyline in section view, and editing the framing member in the truss detail. However, I'd follow Joey's advice! Much faster.
masterofmany
Thank you so much for the replies! I will try it today and see if I can get to work for me. May have further questions. Imagine that!
