StarHome
I am trying to make my exterior doors show on the foundation print. I am dropping my doors 1/2" below the floor and the ond shows up on the foundation print but the other one does not. Any Ideas? Or is their a better way? DRAWZILLA
You can use reference sets to do that. You should check in each door's dbx to see if show concrete cutout is checked, then it will show on the foundation plan. Sorry I didn't download the plan. robdyck
Good one! First thing you'll need to do is place a door!
rgardner
So as Rob is mentioning the plan you uploaded was not developed. There is no doors or foundation on the plan yet. But after placing a garage door and auto-building a foundation with your defaults I found what I suspect your issue without seeing it is. since the rooms above do not have a room type specified it does not know to provide the floor from the foundation room below. Two options: 1.) Open the foundation room and specify that it supplies the floor for the room above (otherwise it thinks it is just building the frost walls and the room above will have a slab poured on-top). OR 2.) Specify the rooms on floor 1 as Garage type if that is what you want which by default in your template has the floor supplied by the room below with a 12" foundation wall above the concrete slab floor which in case it knows to cut the foundation for the doors you place in it.
