image.png.27b7edfa1a310d5aabd97cce79d85083.pngas in the attached image. when I use the siding 6 wall type and take a section, I get straight line for the sidings. I need the horizontal siding. Hope this image helps

I was confused -- always known that as Lap Siding. Don't think we have an exact profile for that.

There are CAD Details in the library that might work, and a forum search for siding profile should find discussions.

This has been addressed multiple times on this forum for years. Chief Users have created numerous solutions for this siding type, take a look.

Hello, do we have batten board symbol in CA as wall type as shown in the section attached?

It not to difficult to do you own cross section through a single board , figure out the Tilt on it and then multi-copy it up the wall every 6"

If Mick's solution is the one you are looking for (Personally I am not sure EXACTLY what that is, what he shows can also be easily done in a Back Clip Cross Section Camera (mainly used for Wall Typical's), where you then add 2D objects manually to detail out what you wish to display using closed polylines to emulate siding and trim objects in profile as it is still done in AutoCAD today and for eons.

I was wondering is there a way to rename a symbol so that the name appears in the schedule will be as required rather than the CA symbol name. eg. 2 way ceiling register, I want to rename it as supply air to reflect in my schedule. Is it possible? Any suggestions how i can achieve that?

I'm looking for a Gas Range symbol or how to callout a Gas Range on a MEP Plan.
I tried searching google and this site all I got was Line drawings for a range.

      Thanks,
      Nick

On the wall schedule there is a Description on the right - by default.
Where is this value located so I can modify it for each wall type?
      Thank you

Hey everybody. I am learning a lot in Chief Premier x12 and I am amazed I didn't make this switch sooner. I have a question regarding resizing the 2d symbols for electrical plan. They seem small but I am not 100% sure how to adjust it.
