Mariah_Miller
I am trying to create a stoop for a house plan, but i want my stoop to show foundation walls on the foundation level. How do I get my stoop to show up in my foundation level? This covered stoop is located in the front of the home for the front entry. I am using version X11
javatom
One of your wall selections in the pull down menu will be "straight foundation walls". Click on it and draw them in. Make sure they are aligned with the walls of your "stoop".
HumbleChief
You could try drawing the foundation for the stoop on the foundation level, select the room that is then defined by those walls, then in the structure tab change the ceiling height of that foundation room to a more appropriate value, which will bring the floor of that room up. Probably other/better methods but this one might work for you. stoop plan.plan
stephenbc
Create a reference layer of your main floor that shows just the foundation of the stoop, then turn on that reference layer on your foundation level.
joey_martin
All great ideas....but go to the main floor and select the walls defining your stoop. Now open those walls and make them BEARING walls and you will see an option light up for a stem wall and footing appear. Select that and now you have foundation walls that you don't have to manually draw.
