RonChief
Hello guys. I have a problem here. I want to copy the properties and layer of one object and paste it to the other object. Is there a way like match properties in Autocad here in Chief Architect?
Chopsaw
Not sure if it works the same as Autocad but yes there is a Match Properties tool and then once you have activated it the Apply Properties tool will show up on the active toolbar. Switching layers is a separate function done in the objects DBX (dialogue box)

Alaskan_Son
We also have the Object Eyedropper and the Fill Style Eyedropper. The latter won’t do exactly what you are asking for but based on your question I think it’s some thing you should be aware of anyway.
glennw
There is a tool specifically designed for that. The Layer Eyedropper enables you to select an object and apply its layer to another object.
