DRAWZILLA Posted February 16, 2019 Share Posted February 16, 2019 I will sometimes use a soffit for ceiling beams and add a molding to it, but if the soffit is sloping the molding won't show in any views or cameras. I'm probably missing a lot (a little ?) by not using it, but for whatever reason I've never thought about the "tool". they work pretty nicely for quick and dirty false Beams etc with the Sloped Soffit Setting but as Perry mentioned you don't see Moldings once they leave the horizontal plane and you have to check ignore Room moulding too as they will only follow the Plan View shape of the Soffit on the Horizontal too even though the soffit is sloped.
