Joe_Carrick
Why does this exist in both the Plan and the Layout? It seems to me that having it in the Plan is superfluous. It's useful in the Layout for title block fill-in but I don't understand why it needs to be in the Plan.
Chopsaw
I think @jbaehmer has a template system that uses it to populate the layout title block straight from the plan file but he could explain it better. I have often wondered why there is not an option or easier way to transfer the data from plan to layout or a default Designer Info.

Do you ever have a different set of info in the Plan than in the Layout? The reason I ask is that I only use the built-in macros for this information in the Layout. ei: Title Block fill-in. dshall
in layout I use it for the title block, in plan I use it under clients name on sheet one... not a big deal, several ways of achieving the same thing.... with macros...

Joe, it is not a big deal, all I was saying is I do not think it is superfluous, but if they think it is, they can eliminate it, there are other way of accomplishing what I am doing.
