1-3-2-4
As the title says, I have terrain data from my surveyor...northings, eastings, z data. What's the best way to enter this information into the software to generate 3D terrain? Will be very helpful in laying out the house. Thanks! Kbird1
What kind of Data you have ? from the Surveyor may determine the input method... if you have DWG or DXF Autocad files you can import them.... assuming it is in the right Format https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00719/importing-terrain-elevation-data-from-a-dxf-or-dwg-file.html
Chopsaw
XYZ Data can also be imported from a simple text file or entered manually but the text file allows you to keep the data a little more organized. If that is your situation I will try to look up the details and procedure from last time I did it.

1-3-2-4
OK, so the order is XYZ? Turns out the data I just posted is mixed up (YXZ). It's presently Point ID, Y coordinate, X coordinate, elevation with respect to sea level (ft).
