Odd purple box on drawing sheet

Recommended Posts

On my drawing sheet a purple box keeps showing up that when I try to save a plan as a pdf it cuts off the page at the bottom of the purple box.

I've looked at everything I can think of to get rid of it. I can't select it to delete it.

Any suggestions?

Those are your crosshairs just move them out of the scene  or turn them off.

On second thought, its you paper size margins.

Perry is right on the paper margins-

Go into drawing sheet set up and adjust.

It's definitely not the crosshairs - maybe the image doesn't properly reflect the situation. I've adjusted the margins to no avail. It's showing up as a big purple box outline that prints about 2/3 of the screen.

Now I have a bigger issue. Frequently go back and forth between work and home without issue until today. X8 won't open no matter what I do. Deactivated my license at work and X8 won't open at home. Lots of work to do so may have to go back to office tonight. Bummer.

That has to be your drawing margins.  Print>Drawing Sheet Setup>Drawing Margins...adjust your bottom margin to match the side and top margins...

I set my drawing sheet to ANSI D (22"x34") and hit OK. The I go to the layout sheet to print, say my floor plan sheet, and I hit 11"x17" for paper size and my drawing scale @ Check Plot 1/2" scale and it is giving my an error. It says oversized drawing sheet even though I set it to the (22"x34") which at 1/2 of that it is 11"x17". So why am i having this issue? I use X9 Premier. I don't want to print on the sheet with (fit to page, that will make it not to scale). I have also included two pics.  Thanks in advance.
