jscussel
I'm trying to import a image I have on my Desktop into a floor plan. After I import the image, I want to delete it from my desktop. When I delete the image on my Desktop, it also gets deleted from the floor plan. Do I need to store the image somewhere? Jon
KilgoreTrout
Yes. I like to keep images like this in the same folder the plan is in. Or, you can open up the picture box dialog and check the "save in plan" option. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.
Solution jscussel Posted June 3, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted June 3, 2014 Thanks, that worked. My thinking was once it's imported, it is already in plan. That's what I get for thinking. Jon
DRAWZILLA
we have been trying to get "save in plan" to be the default for many years now.
lbuttery
yes, "save in plan" default or preference would be very nice I just got bit twice on this my PC died in Dec and I had some presentations for my family history using lots of pics sure enough there were a few that I missed setting "save in plan" and I had track them down on my old HD's major PITA every time this happens Lew
dshall
I was thinking of this just today. In the past I would put these in the job folder. But why not put these joeys in the library. Is there a downside?
jscussel
Would have saved me about 3 hours trying to figure it out. Jon
