bgaeke
Hello all! New here, so please be easy on me. I have a renovation project that we are about to start, and the interior staircase has 2-45deg angles with winders in it. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to make the software draw it. When i get the angle it does funky things with the winders. When i make the winders work, I cant get the angle. Any Suggestions? Brandon G. Joe_Carrick
Try getting the winders to work and then select the whole thing and rotate it as a unit.

Joe_Carrick
Your "so called winders" are just "Landings". You might have to do some manual work to get them to fit, but otherwise it's not that difficult.
bgaeke
Possible, maybe i am doing it wrong. The auto stair tool is messing my mind up.
Joe_Carrick
Automatic works for most cases but not all. That's why there are manual alternatives.
Solution glennw Posted August 30, 2016 Solution Share Posted August 30, 2016 Draw your 3 stair sections all separate from each other, but at the correct angles. Don't worry about the overall heights, just get the goings and risers for each section correct. Use point to point move to join them up. You can then use the Landing tool to click between the stairs and the landing will auto build to join the 2 stair sections. You can then edit the stairs and landings as needed for fine tuning. http://screencast.com/t/YwE8b0psn
