Can you flip corner cab door direction

Recommended Posts

Hi please open plan,  do a floor overview,  Can you flip corner cab door direction?  If so,  how did you do it?

I can tell you,  flip cabinet and then you need to rotate in plan....  is this weird?  Why can't we open dvx and change swing side?

That is the answer...  of course you now to to rotate the new cabinet 180 degrees in  plan view.......   the point is with most cabinets you can change a door from a right cabinet door to a left cabinet door.  With the corner cabinet,  you can not do that........  seems like a very small loss of function.

Scott,

You are correct, it is too simple!

Open the dbx.

Front/Sides/Back panel.

In the preview pane select the door by it's hinged or right hand side, NOT the handle side.

You can't select the door by selecting the handle or left side.

Make sure "2 Door - Auto Right" is selected.

Change Item Type to "Door - Auto Left".

I just looked at a ton of photos on Houzz and from what I saw there, I would say yes. Much easier access with the hinge on the other side as well.
