Designer100
I would appreciate any help with this roof on adding covered porch, that will be flat for about 5 ft then slope up (slope to exist rear wall of family room being about 12' ht when it hits the exterior wall) 3:12 pitch catching the existing roof at 2nd floor about 14 ft up close to exist. chimmney. the eave toward pool where new 22 ft bm +- fasica will match Master Bedrm fascia. I cannot get the 2nd floor roof to slope down and catch first floor like pictures and then new roof slopes down at 3:12 pitch and has same fascia as exist. Master Bedrm. Attached is a rough section sketch of how it will approx. look. Attached are pictures of Exist. house. I am adding a covered porch roof cathching the 2nd level roof and gable on each side. Thanks, MaCay Patio.plan SKETCH SECTION07202016.pdf

Designer100
only the roof above the patio is new. needs to be 3:12 pitch and catch same eave ht where I have beam. I could not get the roof of existing to match existing. that is why I sent pictures. Existing the rear roof above 2nd floor existing goes down and has 11' eave ht existing at rear of Family room. I could not get it to look right. then a 3:12 roof will come down to cover the new patio and catch the eave ht same as master bedroom. porch ceilng will be flat coming from the fascia for about 4 ft then slope up following the bottom of rafters. thanks

How can I remove the roof on inside by master bedroom flush with wall? Thanks for the help.
