johnny
Is there any way to rebuild a single wall so that it applies the "auto" changes only to that isolated object? Id love to not have to rebuild everything.
Alaskan_Son
There are a number of methods and various ways these could be combined, but the steps I would recommend you consider...-Group selecting walls and possibly removing some walls from selection. You can easily group select by switching to a wall tool and shift selecting.-Checking or unchecking Retain Wall Framing (Structure tab).-Using the Build Framing tool for only selected walls. yusuf-333
If you want to auto reset the wall height of specific wall, open property dbx for that wall and in structure tab there is "set to default height" button. though not sure if that is one of the auto things you were asking. jbaehmer
How I had the plans was that auto wall framing is turned on for all the walls and the specific walls that I would not want to "auto-frame" I would, as Michael suggested, check "Retain Wall Framing". If I had a wall that was checked to retain the framing and now decided to have it auto frame, I would simply uncheck the box and it would auto frame. I used this concept it in my pony walls in the FDN supporting the first-floor joists.
