  1. Watch this YouTube video. Method 2 is what I use.
  2. I noticed that the screen shot says Architect 10.0 Full. It should be 10.08b. There was/is an update that you have to install for the HASP to work. It is 10.08. See attached screen shot for version.
  3. I am confused. When did "home designer pro 7" come into the equation? I was under the impression that you were having trouble with the Chief Architect version 10 HASP dongle. "That is what I had to do to get my older programs (V10 and prior) to work on a new XP64 bit pro machine". My only experience with Home Designer Pro is Home Designer Pro 2025 which is the version I have. I did not realize that earlier versions of Home Designer Pro had a HASP dongle.
  4. I uploaded the drivers in the previous HASP not recognized. thread. Look at the second thread which states to download the files into a Sentinel folder. Those are the drivers that you need. I took screen shots for you of my Windows 10 configuration. Note that there are two separate drivers - HASP and USB Key
  5. The trick is to delete the new HASP driver installed by Windows and then install the "old" Sentinel driver.
  6. I have Chief Architect version 10 running on Windows 10 and 11. See this thread for more information on how to accomplish this. HASP not recognized.
  7. Looking for to have approximately 100 Chief version 10 plan files converted to Home Designer Pro 2025 format. Bob Medvetz
  8. One last thing. Did you build the Sentinel Hasp folder as illustrated?
  9. Based on your information the only thing I can think of is the following. Is the HASP located in the same USB port when the driver update was made?
  10. 1. Did you install the 10.08b update for version 10? 2. What does device manger show in the properties tab with the HASP installed? You should see what is in the screen shots on the Word document.
  11. The drivers in the .zip files posted are version 7.80. If you installed 9.16 something went wrong in your install procedure.
  12. Part 2 of 2 Unzip Files.zip into the Sentinel HASP folder. Good Luck Files.zip
  13. Part 1 of 2. There is a 14mb limit on what can be uploaded so I had to break up my response into two parts. Make a folder called Sentinel Hasp on you computer. Unzip All Files.zip and Drivers.zip into it. You should have two subfolders named as All Files and Drivers after you do this. From Part 2 unzip Files.zip into the Sentinel Hasp folder that you made. You will have to delete the previous HASP drivers that you already have. Follow the instructions in the Updating HASP Driver.doc All Files.zip Drivers.zip Updating HASP Driver.doc
  14. If your Hasp matches the one pictured I may the drivers that you may be able to use.
  15. I just went through this when I upgraded to another laptop. Do you still have this issue? Does your hardware lock look like the attached?
