  1. Thanks, but all that does is make all the text, in both columns, larger. I just want the text in the right hand column to get bigger to match the numbered symbol in the schedule in the left hand column. Change your note text size in plan to 12 and see what it does to the schedule.
  2. In the attached Note Schedule, I want my callouts fairly large since it's a fairly big site at a small scale, but in the Note Schedule I want my text in the schedule to match the note symbol. I have tried the various options in the dbx, but I can't seem to find a way to make it so the font sizes are more the same. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
  3. That doesn't seem to be it. It's the attic, so it has no room definition.
  4. All these years, and my structural engineer pointed this out. Nice way to make sure rain gets into the attic. No easy way to flip it over I can find since it's a window and not an object. I assume I'm not the first one to notice this?
  5. Turns out my issue was having Steam, but not the Steam VR app as well. Working now.
  6. Seems I am having similar problems. I get "No Virtual Reality Headset Connected", but I do have it connected and it is working with the free Oculus tutorial stuff. I have also tried starting the Oculus and Steam softwares in various combinations. Chief V12. GeoForce RTX 2060 SUPER/PCIe/SSE2
  7. Have the Oculus and Steam softwares installed and running, but still says I don't have a headset connected, which I clearly do. Chief V12. GeoForce RTX 2060 SUPER/PCIe/SSE2. The free tutorial stuff from Oculus works fine, so I know the headset is connected and working. I have tried having the Oculus software and/or the Steam software open in various combinations and still nothing. Any ideas?
  8. If I have several instances of a Note in, say, several interior elevations, that is in a Note Schedule (in a CAD detail), can I then go back and edit all instances of that note at the same time, or do I have to go in and edit them all individually? Tried Help and searched here. Surprised not to find anything. Thanks!
  9. Not exactly sure what you mean, but you have some kind of polyline solid on the first floor that is the concrete material.
  10. The image I attached doesn't show the green and purple as obviously, but still shows on my monitor even looking at it from here. Probably fixable in the setting somewhere. Thanks folks.
  11. Got a new computer and triple 43" 4K monitors which I am thrilled about, but ran across this little quirk where some of my fill patterns, which are clearly designated as black lines, read as alternating green and purple on the screen. I tried playing about with the color settings of the monitors, but couldn't see much change. They don't print this way, so it's a pretty minor thing, but just curious if anyone here had some technical knowledge of LED TV's that might explain this. They are TCL 43S425 43 Inch 4K Ultra HD Smart Roku LED TV (2018). I have a 32 and a 65 at home and have been very happy with them. Or is it the graphics card? MSI RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB GDDR6 Thanks! Hope everyone is safe and well.
  12. I got a Ricoh Theta a while back and I guess I just got lucky with the orientation the first time when I was trying to create a spherical backdrop for a new custom home with an ocean view where I was hoping I could give the client an idea of what their view would be like at eye level on the second floor on a fairly steep lot. I got a story pole with a camera mount on top and guesstimated the height to eye level on that floor. You can operate the camera remotely with a smart phone app. But, second time I didn't get lucky and my solution was taking a series of 360 panos rotating the story pole about 20 degrees at at time and then picking the image that most closely matched the actual view. Not perfect, but with a lot of disclaimers to the client, there is a real wow factor to using this tool. I logged a feature request to have the ability to orient the pano within Chief. The more people that do this, the more likely they might do something about it. Can't imagine this would be technically difficult, just a matter of getting it to bubble up on the priority list.
  13. What causes these commas to appear? Nothing in Help and searching here didn't turn up anything. Went digging through the plan trying to find some stray additional note I put somewhere, but can't find it.
  14. You can't explode sub objects in a Sketchup file imported to Chief. You have to do whatever editing of the object in Sketchup, and then bring it in to Chief. It's always been this way.
  15. Don't remember ever seeing those in the core catalog. Why wouldn't you just use an undermount sink in a countertop?
  16. Yeah, thought about that too. Just thought there might be setting or something.
  17. Okay, thanks. Tricky to get a snip to scale, but do-able. Not critical, just thought it would help with verifying an as-built plan in the field.
  18. I never have the grid showing, and did a little search but couldn't seem to find an answer. I would like a print to PDF to show the gridlines. Is this an option at all?
  19. Sounds like you need to set up a Saved Dimension Default and assign that to your Foundation Layer Set.
  20. This is what happens when you try to use a single layer wall def for a railing in this condition.
  21. By making this revised wall definition unique to the railing wall, this appears to be a good solution, thank you. Will send in a feature request to fix this, which seems really non-sensical to me.
