I couldn't even get past the floor level settings on the properties box. CA flows easier.....

I tried Revit and do not like it.......CA is much faster for me and I do not have the time to learn a new software. I wanted to give it a try though.

Is there a particular Lidar app I should be looking for that will develop floorplans from the scans? Just got the new IPAD Pro and ready to try new things for my renovations.

Believe it or not that second story jut out with the shed roof is like 7' away from the first floor front exterior wall if I understand you correctly. It's an illusion.

I dropped the porch 3 1/2" and rebuilt the foundation and it worked.......who knows......I don't have time to figure out why this time.

Got a duplex guys, both apartments are the same, just mirrored. I noticed we cannot copy the walls and paste in place in one apartment and mirror on the center wall to the other apartment. How do you guys accomplish this?

I send all views to layout in "vector". The sign doesn't show up but it does in perspective view. Would you send the elevations to layout in "standard"? Your method worked great....btw

Thats a screenshot off the internet of what I am needing.....I did the design for an engineer of a bathroom and the city is requiring men and women signs on the doors on the elevations. I also forgot how to add the material/image to an object/pline solid if that is what you are asking.

I guess this is the right area to post but do we have these in our library?

Working on something new here guys. There was a thread a while back that explained this but how do we bring down the wall material to cover porch beams? I cannot and do not want to push them "up" to hide them. Thanks By the way I use the "floor/ceiling beam" tool to create these if that matters........
