When you do not get the rotate grip when selecting all, is there a pull down in the menu to do so? This happens from time to time and I usually rotate one at a time. These are basic polylines and autos from the catalog.

I tried that, and because of the overhang it wouldn't work. However, I may not be seeing what someone else see's that is a solution. The client and I both know so I am having him review it with his builder to see if we should change something or if it can be built on site and not a big deal.

That cricket would have to be above that ridge to be functional, correct? That is what I was saying would look ugly.

I hear ya, lol. As long as the foundation and main floor dims match it seems fine to me. I do what I am asked to make it easier in the field.

Have any of you guys ever had a request from the builder to round dimensions to the nearest 1/2", 1" etc just so there are not any crazy fraction dimensions? Sometimes it is inevitable to get those 16th's dims. I can see how they wouldn't want to pull a tape measure to those. Rounding really cleans up the drawing but can it be a bad thing? I mean any design software allows this option.

My question is if sometimes updates to your card cause crashes what is the harm of never updating and leaving well enough alone? I am so far behind on updates for my 3080.

yeah the "lites" option wasn't available to manipulate on these but I will look into further.

Is there a way to add lites to these doors like we can with windows? Of course I have a request for doors that aren't in the library, or atleast my library.

You are correct, framing in chief. Luckily, I got out of this one since we are just increasing the pitch on the existing awning I built and no curvature. Good job creating that by the way.

This curved awning looks cool but it is from the library and won't generate framing. Are they hard to build manually as roof planes?

Yeah, I was doing that but it is very time consuming one by one and there may be a lot of duplicates I don't know about, but If that is the only way then that's cool too. I was hoping the program could scan the library to find them.

Happy New Year guys and gals. I am going to be upgrading to X14 soon and want to clean up my library before I migrate it over. Is there any easy way to find all the duplicate items at once and delete? I somehow have every sherwinn williams paint color duplicated as well as other items I obviously downloaded twice from the CA 3d library and forgot I already had them. Thanks

Thanks for the replies.....I will try all. This request has been asked for the first time by a builder and I am willing to bet a brick mason already knows that the top row is always a solider course and doesn't necessarily need to see the elevations reflecting it in order to do his job.
